You people that are complaining about posting address and other info must have be some of those ebay born scammers because I am sure at least most have you scammed someone on ebay insome way or another because ebay allows that to happen to honest sellers all the time even if it's buyer's remorse and you just don't want it anymore or you just do not want to pay return shipping for YOUR mistake because ebay allows dishonest in every way possible.
And yes there are ways to curb the dishonesty of some of the sellers that post fraudulent stupid dishonest reviews from problems that they themselves created.
Really if you think about it 90% of everybody now a days has a camera phone and a true site that needs to be opened would require proof of the scam and yes posting address and phone # or multi able contact information from same the scammer or scammers is needed because anybody can use many different phone numbers to setup ebay sites and use the same paypal account for all the different phone numbers and they can also set many paypal accounts using the same address just open up bank accounts and use that card to setup the paypal and after that's done just close that bank account that account is good for up to a year or more depending on the expire date of the card so addresses are a very important tool on one of those honest review sites but like I said earlier the host of the site should take steps and make the disgruntled person prove to the site what has happened by posting the emails and photo's of anything pertaining to the theft and the person or persons responsible for the theft,But the only draw back to a site like that it cost money to operate and a really good site would need to employ help so a site like that would have to charge a fee and I would be willing to pay a small fee if a real site like that was available and by charging a fee that would stop most fraudulent posting from being posted and having the poster pay for the posting and getting there contact information also helps because if theirs a good scanning system attached to the site that can scan the name of the person posting the post paying with a credit card or bank account or paypal the system would be able to see if that person is trying to retaliate against you and protect you as well but a site like that most likely does not exists because of the costs of running the site.
